First of all, it is important to understand what it means that a SAT question is difficult. The College Board divides every SAT question into 5 levels. These levels are determined using the experimental section of a SAT. This is a section of every SAT that is not qualified. They are used instead for statistical data. When most students ask an experimental question correctly, it is considered “very easy” or Level 1. When most students mispronounce an experimental question, it is classified as “very difficult” or grade 5.

The level of a SAT question may or may not be related to the “actual difficulty” of the question. It depends on how many students formulated the question in a particular exam.

Before you continue reading, you must decide whether you want to ask the SAT difficult mathematical questions. For example, if you are a student currently earning less than 500 math points in the College Board Practice exams, you should only practice level 1 to 3 math problems. If you take a moment to think about why most students have misinterpreted these “difficult” questions, you can use this to your advantage. There are several possible reasons for a student to ask a question. This includes:

The question was really difficult.

The student did not understand the question.

The student was tricked

The first two mentioned obstacles can be overcome with practice. By practicing some level 4 and 5 questions every day, you naturally improve your abilities.

The third obstacle requires a little more caution. Here are some ways to avoid being lured into difficult matters:

Practice the application of SAT-specific mathematical strategies for more difficult mathematical problems. Even basic strategies such as inserting, guessing, selecting numbers, and drawing images can be extremely effective in difficult problems. Repeat the difficult questions that you have mis-formulated every few days until you have corrected them, even if you have fully understood the solution.

Pay special attention to what the question demands. The fact that you have found x does not mean that the question asks for x.
